                            John Bergren

As a child John greatly admired his siblings' freehand drawing skills.  Sandly, John has no such skill. Because of that, combinedold fashinioned sibling rivelry, they were John's first influence toward his artwork, painting.

The reasons John pursued painting would be difficult to  answer for the time and place of the initial pleasure is buried in his subconsious. Everything John has painted has been inspired by something.  John may say I chose it because I liked the colors, the perspective or whatever. But John believes the real reason he chose any particular subject matter for each painting is tucked away in his subconcious.

What John would like to accomplish with his art is to create through his painting images of his world so the viewer can see what he sees.
