Rosemary Bliss Padilla

Rosemary Bliss Padilla was an Oglala and Assiniboine Sioux Indian. Born in Los Angeles, she would grow up and settle in the Sierras near Yosemite.

As a child, Rosemary assisted her father in his darkroom. From this, she acquired her love of art and photography. As an adult, she would take that early influence and exposure to photography and develop it into beautiful, life-inspired photos. Rosemary had an appreciation for the beauty found in the simple things that surround us all. Her photography reflects this appreciation.  We hope you enjoy the beauty found in these simple things captured through her lens.
